Yorkson Community Park — Attraction in Township of Langley

Nice park in a highly over built area (yuk) but the park is still not finished. It makes one wonder if city planners will ever learn that overbuilding areas with ultra high density high rises, condos and townhouses is the way to a heathy or prosperous future. I for one, want a new planet where I can return my soul and body to nature. So yay and yes, to the park and greenspace. Nice park. We come here pretty regularly when we visit our friends who live in this complex. The playground has a nice rubber matting which makes it great for our baby girl in case she falls over. Some recent changes have made it quite a bit worse however - they removed the garbage cans and there has been a lot of bird excrement that doesn't seem to be getting cleaned up regularly. No play park for toddlers and families. Map is also very confusing to find washrooms from main parking lot if new to area. Not well planned. Otherwise great amenities. Glad washrooms are available.
