Went through a drive through and was asked to park. Informed store the parking in front was full hence why I’m driving through and that if I needed to leave I would just take a refund. The girl then just walked away without saying anything and returned with my food less than a minute later. We then had to wait another 1-2 minutes for my vanilla latte and unfortunately after driving away I discovered they gave me a flavourless latte which was terrible and also a lesser cost than what I paid for. This is not the first time I’ve had issues at this drive through and even though it’s a small amount, I have an issue that I paid a higher cost than what I received. Unless the store makes up for this and willing to give me my correct drink at another time I will not be returning. Very disappointed as all the other coffee shops within the area gives great service.
Gave them another chance weeks after my initial review and my experience was even worse! Went in to order and only one person in line and fairly empty. Placed my order and waited patiently. After 15 mins waiting for one wrap, I asked a girl how much longer it would take and the response was “ya, it’s coming” and I asked a few more times but they wouldn’t give any timeline. After another 5-10 minutes I asked another girl and told her that the heat in the place was making me feel unwell so couldn’t wait any longer and requested a refund. She went and looked then came back and said they didn’t even have the chicken I ordered so I asked to be refunded as felt like my time was being waisted. A third person then came and I again asked for my refund as was taking a long time and now being told they didn’t have my order, she refused to listen disappeared and came back claiming they now have it. I said at this point, the long wait and terrible customer service with no communication, I just wanted a refund. She became argumentative and then a few mins later they had my order ready. Due to how I was being treated I said I just wanted a refund as was told they didn’t have my order and with last time there they gave me something else I didn’t want to chance it. They tried refunding me less than I paid and I hit cancel and said that was unacceptable, that it has to be a full refund as I’m leaving with nothing after waiting 25-30mins and that I will never return as only had negative experiences. Grabbed something to eat from another place in the complex and provided my experience and they said they hear that all the time and personally have had many breaks where that Tom Hortons waisted their time. Highly recommend avoiding here, if you want Tim Hortons drive a couple mins down the road to the one on 200th and you’ll have a much...
Read moreAfter a handful of poor experiences here I can confidently say this is genuinely the worst Tim’s location I’ve ever visited. Details below if you care to read this all:
The customer service is horrible and the staff is extremely unorganized. I’ve never been greeted by a cashier while giving them my order and their attitude is horrible, even if I ask how their day is going. Seriously, not a single staff member has been kind and the majority of them appear to hate being there if they’re not gossiping to each other in the back. On top of that, the wait time for a simple order is ridiculous. On multiple occasion I’ve had to wait upwards of 15 minutes for a drink and a wrap, even when I’m the only person there. While waiting for the order they never acknowledge my presence or apologize for the wait. When I finally receive my order it’s practically shoved at me. The drive though is no better. Once I ordered a 50 pack of assorted timbits, but when I pulled up to the window I was told they didn’t have enough and offered me a 20 pack instead. Sure, whatever. But then they asked to have me pull into a parking spot… for a 3-flavour pack of timbits?? Totally defeats the purpose of a drive through. Let it be known I always try my hardest to be patient and understanding but at this point the customer service is undeniably such a joke. And that’s not even the worst of it all.
The food and drinks are poor quality. I’ve received a few decent drinks from here, but that is outweighed by the fact that most of the coffees I’ve ordered haven’t even filled the cup fully. The donuts are often dry and stale tasting, even the timbits. The wraps are arguably of the worst quality. They’re tiny compared to how they used to be, served in paper and never full. I’ll attach pictures. So disappointing.
The bathrooms and tables are almost always dirty. The women’s washroom sometimes doesn’t have toilet paper, the toilet and sink themselves are not clean and the hand dryer was literally ripped out of the wall with no paper towel nearby. The tables are often sticky and don’t seem to be wiped frequently. There’s trash on the ground too. All of it is just gross.
I come here regularly in hopes of a better experience, but nearly every aspect of this location is extremely disappointing. Clearly there needs to be a change in staff and management considering their 2.7 star rating. It’s unfortunate to see such a decline in quality and service from Tim Hortons. Safe to say I will not be returning. Ever. Stay away from this place, don’t...
Read moreI’ve given this store several chances, hoping things would improve, but each time, I’ve left frustrated and dissatisfied.
I typically use the drive-thru, and I’ve consistently encountered rude service from the order taker. On a recent visit, I also witnessed something that made me even more uncomfortable ,an employee being treated very poorly. There was a young woman with dark complexion, slightly heavyset who was shouting at her teammate over the drive-thru timer. The delay wasn’t even the window person’s fault; my app was simply taking time to load. I understand the importance of speed and drive-thru times, but yelling at fellow team members in front of customers is unprofessional and creates a toxic work environment. If employees are being treated like this, it’s no wonder they seem unmotivated and disengaged.
Another concern is hygiene. One of the employees preparing food was wearing bangles, including ones with stones. From what I know, wearing such jewelry during food preparation is against basic health and safety standards. What’s even more concerning is that this isn’t a one-time occurrence I’ve seen the same girl wearing those bangles on multiple visits. This suggests it’s either being ignored or outright allowed by management.
This location clearly needs serious improvement in customer service, employee treatment, and adherence to food safety protocols. I strongly urge the owner of this store to look into these issues personally. If an employee is consistently allowed to wear inappropriate jewelry, it raises questions about overall management and the standards...
