Easy to get to good view point if you don't want to hike anywhere. They've built a nice viewing area to see the salmon without disturbing them. It's not my favorite place as I like hiking out more but good for older people and those who don't want to walk much.

Well, Valemont is a nice little town. I saw my first salomon there. There is a bakery and some nice Restaurants and a very helpful Visitor Center. So make a stop there and relax ...

Nice little park, best time to come is when the salmon are spawning, during middle of August, and watch them on the board walk or bridge

A nice stop while in Valemount.

There are pit toilets (and apparently toilets inside the nearby tourist info centre during business hours). Picnic tables are available, and there are several interpretive displays of the salmon that spawn here in August. The Chinook Salmon range in size from 6 kg to 25 kg.

There is a footbridge across the small creek (Swift Creek), and a platform to enable viewing of the spawning salmon.

A great little park to enjoy a leg stretch from the highway and, if you time it right, see the salmon spawn after their 1300 km swim up the Fraser River and...

Nice amenity. Outdoor pit toilets for after hours use, indoor washroom while the visitor Centre is open. Ample parking, a pedestrian bridge to view the stream and salmon when present. A walking trail. A simple place to stop and rest. Limited...
