A Warm Canadian Welcome at Tim Hortons – Thanks to Janet!

As a tourist visiting Canada for the first time, I was excited to finally experience Tim Hortons – and I have to say, it did not disappoint! What made my visit truly memorable was the exceptional service from an employee named Janet.

From the moment I stepped in, Janet greeted me with a warm smile and a genuine, friendly attitude that made me feel right at home. She was patient in helping me decide what to try (I ended up getting a Double Double and Boston Cream – both were amazing!) and even took the time to ask how I was enjoying my trip.

It was a small interaction, but it meant a lot. Janet made my first Tim Hortons experience feel like more than just grabbing a coffee – it felt like a little piece of Canadian hospitality.

Stopped here on a road trip. Spent over 50 dollars on food and coffee. My son asked for a cup of water and they said they'd need 20 cents for the cup so he asked if they'd fill his cup instead. Guy looked straight at him and said no. Can see why this place has such a low rating. Trading solely on Tim Hortons brand reputation and could care less about the quality of food or service.

Edit to add - chili didn't taste right. Kids threw it away, didn't think too much as kids are kids. But my son threw up as soon as he walked outside. As I wanted to let the staff know the guy in front of me was letting him know the cream in his coffee had turned. When I told the staff about the Chili all they had to say was - it's fresh, we opened a new bag. God knows how they store food here. No sorry or offer of a refund. And no interest in cleaning up the vomit outside their store which the crows started eating and...
