It's a great place to hangout, exercise at various exercise locations installed n there's a small playground for young people with two square tables to sit at nearby. It is also good for jogging bc of the oval gravel track, which encompasses two baseball diamonds. Recently renovated to have gender neutral toilets n an outdoor drinking fountain made for dogs n people to drink including being able to fill your own reusable water bottle.
A great feature is the pollinator garden which fills a good portion of the hill which neighbours get together to take care of n in the midst of this is a sweeping, switchback pathway from the top of the hill to the bottom.
There are several benches to sit on at the top of the hill which takes advantage of the wondrous view of the area. To the north side of the hill is a small fruit orchard n small garden area. Right beside the orchard are also concrete stairs for those who may prefer it to get up and down to the track n two baseball diamonds. Great place to bring a leashed dog. Read moreI only even go here when there is snow, so can't speak for other activities other than sledding. The hill on the west side of the park is awesome! You do have to either start from specific parts of the hill or be able to stop yourself fairly quickly, or you risk crashing into a fence. If it does snow enough for sledding, get out there early. Over on the right side of the hill (looking downhill), there are some shorter, flatter sections for little kids. It gets pretty crowded on a snow day, so make sure you're paying attention to what's coming down when you're at the bottom or walking up the hill; definitely saw a few kids getting taken out by sleds because they weren't...
