Guelph Park shares the space with Duke Chilling Park …Duke Chilling Park was first identified with a humorous flare and with community support, it was recognized as an official park space…this entire park is dog friendly, with a children’s playground and The Brewery Creek Community Garden which makes this park a very interesting community focused area..plenty of space to relax and view the wide range of activities …

"Guelph Park, or should I say Dude Chilling Park, was an awesome find! I really enjoyed the laid-back vibe and the unique name. The atmosphere here is so relaxed, and it's a perfect spot to unwind. I was amazed by the art installations too. A happy and satisfied visit for sure!

It's also known as Dude Chilling bc of the former organic n original sculpture called dude chilling. It's now a long lasting copper sculpture.

It's a moderate sized park, which hosts quite a few benches and picnic tables come late Spring or early Summer. It gets very well used when the weather is reliably warm n sunny.

Also there's a community garden attached to the park tennis courts. It also has some great trees for shade.

There once was an area for playing volleyball/badminton, but the Westside pole broke/rusted away n has yet to be replaced. IDK if there's any plans to. The last pole remaining has been delightfully knitbombed.

It's also a park well used by dogs and their owners. I find it delightful to watch the dogs run around play fetch or with each other. Many of the owners seem to be mindful of people's preferences to not want dogs to greet them or otherwise.

In any case, it's a good little park. Hope you decide to...

Full of weeds, dusty, pine cones and needles piked up under benches, just neglected in general. Gross port-a-potties put there, and old mismatched lawn chairs dragged in from nearby residents. Crocheted mouldy yarn "art" hanging on fences, and a group of "work from home" people sitting around drinking. Cigarette butts and six-pack rings scattered around. I went there at 3pm on a weekday prior to a real estate showing. I wanted to see how it was post-covid because I hadn't been nearby since summer of 2020, and it makes it look like a neighbourhood in decline. Super sad, given that there's the new Thierry, Nesters, Earnest Ice Cream, etc nearby. I wouldn't want to go there as my neighbourhood park. The city really needs to take better care of our urban...

Guelph Park, nestled in the heart of a bustling urban area, offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. This charming park, known for its lush greenery and well-maintained paths, is a favorite among locals for leisurely strolls and relaxation. The playground, a hit with children, is equipped with modern and safe equipment, making it an ideal spot for families. Additionally, the pak features several benches and picnic areas, perfect for a sunny afternoon outing. The open grassy areas are great for recreational activities, and the park often hosts community events, adding to its vibrant atmosphere. However, parking can be a challenge during peak hours, and some visitors have noted the need for more...
