Nha Trang Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup 芽莊越南美食 & Nha Trang Deli LTD. — Restaurant in Vancouver

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the city. My wife, who travelled to Viet Nam in the 90's, says that the food at Nha Trang tastes very authentic. The decor is very dated and the ambience is nothing to write home about, but the food is really great with generous portion sizes.

The beef broth for the pho is the best I've had in Vancouver and the spring rolls are unmatched. My daughter recently had the grilled chicken on rice vermicelli and she was very satisfied (took home some leftovers). I like their salad rolls with shrimp (no ham), especially with their peanut sauce which has just the right amount of nuoc mam for my taste.

We were really concerned that as a small, independent business Nha Trang may not survive its temporary closure due to the COVID-19 restrictions, but were happy to find out that it re-opened for shortened business hours at 50% capacity on October 25, 2020. After reading a review about the curry beef brisket noodles, I just had to try it. There's plenty of parking all around. From the looks on the outside it doesn't look like much, which is fine because that never discourages me.

When you enter there's alot of room inside. It looks as if this place was a European buisness at one point? Grecko style pillars and arches, coffee pictures, and a out of service ice cream case... Anyhoo, we're here for the food! My friend orders the beef pho. It's good here. I order number 36, the curry beef brisket soup with egg noodle. Wow... It's savory and I love the flavors in it. It's a touch oily so I just scooped out the oil to another bowl. Didn't bother me at all. They were generous in the meat for the large bowl I ordered.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the lower main land!! We always have the #41, lemongrass pork, springroll, vermicelli with fresh veggies... Oh my goodness my taste buds were dancing 💃!! Go here if you like Vietnamese cuisine, their salad rolls are so scrumptious. I have tried the chicken and porch chops with rice and veggies. Wow, this mom and pop restaurant is a hidden gem 💎.
