Gordon Park — Attraction in Vancouver

This park has wide open spaces enough for a dozen or more large groups to enjoy at the same time. It has two baseball diamonds and can host large events.

The sidewalks around the park are fairly well maintained, so if you're looking for a place to walk around the neighborhood, this is a nice, quiet spot. The large field provides for an enjoyable view and benches at the north end are placed to overlook the field with the baseball diamonds at the opposite end.

This park also has a small playground with a jungle-gym, slide and other small toys for them to play on and benches for the parents. A popular spot for kids to swing around and release their energy. Unless it's raining, I always see people here during the day. Come by...

Love the park, but really disappointed that they are going to destroy it to move the school near 49th instead of rebuilding it where the current school is that they will demolish.
