When I have a craving for pho, this is usually where I end up. Tasty bowls of pho, competitive prices, and fairly quick service. But don't expect a warm and cozy kind of ambiance. It is decently clean, but the stark bright fluorescent lighting and light coloured tile floors could pose as an operating room, were it not for the tables and chairs filling the space. The good thing is that you will definitely see your food which is delish. I did note on my last visit that there were less noodles in my bowl than on previous visits. I hope that was a one-off rather than a trend. The women's washroom is small but decent and includes a monstrosity of a mirror that might have been a regift from someone who no longer wanted it in their home. Whatever, it does the job. The strip mall parking lot is small and often full, but street parking is free. And for public transportation, the restaurant is conveniently located near an intersection, close to bus stops on both Victoria Drive and 49th Avenue.

At the heart of the bustling city lies a hidden gem: a quaint Vietnamese restaurant offering irresistible chicken rice with a perfectly cooked egg. The succulent chicken, bursting with flavor, melds harmoniously with the fragrant, well-seasoned rice. The pièce de résistance - a delicate, silky egg - elevates this humble dish to gastronomic delight. Service is top-notch, with a warm and attentive staff that leaves you feeling like family. Despite its culinary prowess, the restaurant boasts unbeatable affordability. This unassuming eatery delivers an unmatched combination of mouthwatering flavors, exceptional service, and wallet-friendly prices. A must-visit for any food enthusiast!

TL:DR the food is okay. It's rather greasy though compared to what I've tried in other pho places. Their prices are the only good thing here. Service is as bad as they come. If there was an opposite of a man full of smiles, it would be here. A lady full of frowns. And rude. Okay, and lastly is the dining atmosphere. Upon entry we were greeted with not the waitress, but the smell of heavily bleached floors. They had just finished cleaning and left the tub of water out on the floor. Would not recommend.

I went in with my friends a couple of times within the past few months and everything was fine. The previous owner and employees were super nice and friendly.

This time, I went in and the employees are all new to me and the owner as well. They are nice, until you ask them questions. My friend and I both got one bowl of phò each, 1 spring rolls, and 1 iced coffee. For some reasons, our bean sprouts was boiled, which we never asked for - mind you, I’m sure majority or at least all phò restaurants don’t boil them at all.

We received all our food, but the not the iced coffee. We started eating our food and it was so far so good. My friend asked how long the iced coffee was going to be delivered to our table because we were like halfway done our meal. One of the employees said it’s coming out soon. It did, but the water was murky and just not clean. We asked her why it’s like that and all she said was “it’s like that” and walked away. We both looked closer to the coffee grounds on top and it was old! We literally got second rounds of coffee ground from an unknown place. That is seriously gross and can be contaminated by other things!!!! That is really unacceptable!!

Now me and my friend are both having stomach pains from eating at this place. My friend called them 10mins after we left and asked them the same questions about the iced coffee, just to be avoided as if it’s not an important question coming from a customer?? We saw the owner before we left too. He asked for the owner and they lied to him saying she left already. Very nice to avoid customer concerns and about their food quality. They need to have Health Canada to like do a food quality control or something. It’s really dirty and messy inside the kitchen. Not a happy customer after they changed owners...

Third party recommendations. By a philipino couple. Hosted guest of my long time philipina friend. Cost was reasonable. Dish served was two spring rolls on vermicelli. And a larger quantity of thin white noodles with small diced/ ribbon vegetables. Not very familiar with Broad range of Vietnamese cooking however I was not aware this dish was served cold with exception of the spring rolls which were warm to the touch.(very good). The noodle base with vegetables were bland and tasteless without the addition of oyster sauce and Karachi even mildly preflavoured with the separately supplied sauce. Also cold. Edible, fresh , however my lack of cuisine knowledge added to the adventure. There was supposed to be pork in the mix. I think I found one shard the size of a penny. And was surprised to see a sign upon entry. Cash only. Obviously there is little contribution to the country we support with our labors. Another underground parasitic community. I have friends in Ho chi min. Vietnam. When we can travel again . I'll wait to expand my knowledge of thier cuisine. The staff were very interpersonal. I find that often sharing meals with my philipina friend. Seems even Asians have differences between thier cultures too. Just an observation. I won't be soliciting in the future. However, I have frequented a couple of my favorite restaurants that are run by Vietnamese, and they are wonderful. I've run into this observation before. Leads me to assume. They don't like philipinas. Especially accompanied by...

Horrible place to eat. Staff is unfriendly and does not care about the customers. I was handed my "tea" more like hot dish water and then when I asked for a water I got a snarky look. The lady with red hair came back and slammed my water splashing my shirt. Dissatisfied I ordered one of the pho soups. To my disgust the lady handed my soup with her thumbs on the rim of my bowl. I don't know where her hands have been or what she does with them but it grossed me out. To make this dinner even worse I realized they only accept cash. This is because they don't have to write down how much they made and they get taxed less by the government. So as I paid with cash I got my change back and the lady rudely asked me for a nice tip. After the service I had I was contemplating even leaving a tip. As I left my tip the women said in Vietnamese "you might as well take the money if you're only going to tip that much" thankfully I was with my Vietnamese friend and he told me. So as I was about to leave I walked back and took my tip. The workers were speechless and started cursing me in Vietnamese. All in all a waste of money, a joke of customer service, and a huge disrespect to the cuisine of Vietnam. Would not recommend this place if I was starving and they were handing out free food and it would save my life. I'd rather die. I wouldn't feed this food to my dog nevermind a...
