As a Vietnamese, this restaurant is seriously a disgrace to my cuisine. I ordered on Uber Eats so I accepted the high price difference, around $20 for each bowl of bunbohue and pho while it's only around $15 if you dine in. I also expected the same quality with restaurants charging the similar price on Uber Eats. However, when I received my order and tried it, I was completely disappointed. I requested for utensils, but the only thing I got was a straw for my coffee. What about the noodles? chopsticks and spoon are not utensils? they expected us, customers to slurp the hot soup and use our hands to pick noodles? We had no utensils to eat the food and ended up walking to a restaurant to ask for ones. Put it aside, what make us losing hope with this restaurant is the food. I have no words to describe how terrible my bun ga and bun bo hue tasted like. The noodles are very soft, my bun ga broth is salty like someone accidentally poured a pack of salt in the stock pot, and my friend's bbh has no flavour.. literally no flavour. I am an easy going person when it comes to food, but with terrible food, you cannot let them go easy and let the restaurant scam your wallet. If you like to waste your money, feel free to come...

Newish Vietnamese spot in South Vancouver along Victoria Drive. We showed up early on a weekend. Unfortunately, it was too early because some items weren't available (chicken wings) as they didn't get their delivery yet for the day. Also couldn't order some of the drinks because the person who made them wasn't in yet.

Originally, we ordered the spring rolls (because the chicken wings weren't available). But when we saw the lemongrass chicken combo included both spring rolls and salad rolls, we told them to ignore the initial spring roll order but they must not have understood so they brought us both orders. While spring rolls were good, I didn't need a whole separate order of them if they were in the combo.

We also ordered the house special pho dac biet which includes brisket beef, beef balls, and rare steak. Nice to see the pinkness of the rare beef.

The food's pretty good but they need to work on having the menu items available. Food also took a bit to come out. Maybe they're still working out the kinks (or they need more help). Also quite cold even though they had space heater running. Not sure if their large front window is only single pane but...

I recently visited The Clouds, and I have to say, it was an exceptional dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with excellent service.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely - it was decorated with traditional Vietnamese artwork and had a cozy, welcoming feel. We were seated promptly and given menus to peruse.

When it came time to order, we were blown away by the variety of dishes on offer. We opted for the beef pho and the lemongrass chicken, and we were not disappointed. The pho was rich and flavorful, with tender slices of beef and an abundance of fragrant herbs. The lemongrass chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a mouth-watering aroma that filled the room.

The portions were generous, and we found ourselves happily stuffed by the end of the meal.

Overall, I would highly recommend The Clouds to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Vietnamese cuisine served with exceptional service in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and try more of...

Opening special, 20% discount off everything. Great food and lovely atmosphere. Owners were super friendly and attentive. Even without the discount, the prices are very reasonable. We had the Bun Bo Hue and House Special. The Bun Bo Hue was delicious. Perfectly spiced and flavourful. The lemongrass chilli really shone through giving the broth a very rich yet light mouth feel. The rice noodle was perfect, chewy yet firm. And it didn’t absorb much of the soup flavour which was amazing. Id highly recommend the Bun Bo Hue. The pho could be better. Broth was a little too light for my liking, and the pho noodles were a little too easily broken. Portions were good though, one size only but just the right amount of noodle to meat to broth ratio. The beef was tender and very delicious. Light but flavourful. Spring rolls are a must try. Well made and very crispy. Highly recommended. Service is impeccable. Place is very very clean but slightly small. Id recommend going in smaller groups if you wish to dine in.

Been several times to The Clouds Vietnamese Cuisine. It's run by a sweet Vietnamese family. Friendly service, teas are occasionally refilled. Not stated on the menu but they offer pork and seafood broth. - Cha gio ($7.95) - good crunch but small. - Goi cuon ($7.95) - okay but iceberg lettuce lowers the quality. - Bun bo hue ($15.45) - broth lacked complexity. Noodle portion left me hungry. - Bun cha ca dac biet ($15.95) - fish cakes springy and chewy. Broth had good depth, well balanced. Their best bowl. - Pho dac biet ($14.95) - broth on the sweeter side. Brisket overcooked, no tendon or tripe. - Hu tieu chua cay ($16.95) - hot and spicy broth was decent. Not much seafood. Noodles don't keep their texture. - Pho ga ($15.45) - tender chicken. Broth light, slightly sweet (kaffir limes were plentiful). Same soft noodles. Serviceable bowls but never quite sate me.
