In regards to the pool:

Beautiful, especially under the afternoon Maple Grove is an excellent pool to spend the summer days away it. Keep in mind the deepest part of the pool is around a meter deep and so it's more geared toward family fun and frolicking than actual length swimming. One last thing the hours change mid August and Google does not reflect this. Make sure to check ahead before going in August do you don't end up having to leave forty-five minutes after going.

Bbq is allowed so long as the bbq is on the outside of the fence. Bikes and the likes are also not permitted on the inside of the fence. You can go in and out as long as you want, don't forget to get stamped, for the day and admission is dirt cheap. CASH ONLY! Concession is over priced as always and stock dwindles to pitiful levels near the end of the season.

Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a nice little tent, and...

Filled with tall graceful trees, Maple Grove is a wonderfully tranquil place for a stroll or picnic. Massive tree stumps scattered through the park, aesthetic in their own right, are reminders of the temperate rainforest that once covered much of Vancouver. The outdoor pool is a popular summertime destination, with people of all ages enjoying a swim in the sparkling waters. Come in late March or early April to see the four cherry trees.

This property was purchased from the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) by the Municipality of Point Grey in the early 1920s and originally named Bowser Park after Francis Bowser, second Reeve of the Municipality. The outdoor swimming pool is always a treat to look forward to all year round and the Maple Grove Park facility delivers the dream. The first thing that jumps at you is how clean and well maintained the entire area is. The pool water is immaculate and just the right temperature making it child friendly and comfortable. The pool is designed with shallow banks that gradually reseed into deeper centers making it perfect for children of all ages to safely enjoy the water activities. Change rooms and washrooms are clean and readily available. The entire park is family oriented and some distance away from busy streets making it a calm and quiet escape from the robust city life. A great place to spend a sunny...

This park has kept many old-growth stumps to remind everyone of the historic giant trees that once covered the surrounding areas. There’s a good playground with swings for toddlers. A fitness area with chin-up bars and hanging rings. Two baseball diamonds for Little League players. Lots of benches with a mix of both sun and shade. Picnic tables with standing barbecue grills for charcoal cooking. Clean bathrooms. The main pool feature is wonderful in the summer with lots of green space inside a fenced area. Enjoy!

The park is well-maintained with lush greenery, making it perfect for leisurely walks or picnics. Its playgrounds are a hit among children, and the walking trails are well-marked and suitable for all ages. The park also features a small pond, which adds to the scenic beauty and is a favourite spot for bird watchers. Cleanliness is clearly a priority here, and the facilities, including restrooms, are kept in good condition.
