I have been buying cakes from Michele's for many years and aside from the regular staff of the previous owner who actually continue to uphold the quality of their products and services, everyone else (new) seems to keep coming up short.

There have been many times where I came to pick up cakes and noticed a guy in the kitchen who never wears a mask (throughout this pandemic) but today, I witnessed an all time low. The same guy, still not wearing a mask during this omicron outbreak, coughed right into the dough he was working on. I was disgusted. Didn't even buy anything and left.

Completely unhygienic and unprofessional. Clearly they do not enforce proper sanitation practices on all their new staff, and do not care about their quality or image. Not only does this risk their customers but their own employees and staff as well....

Visited Michele Cake Shop many times for variety of their delicious baked goods and breads. I also purchased the cakes for all of our occasion here, whether a birthday or anniversary and i must say, my wife and i both was always enjoyed it every time. Yesterday i purchased the Mango cake and oh my goodness. It was fresh, delicious, and those freshly cut mango inside... It was sooo good that we both devoured it and there was no time to take a photo of it :) Staffs are super friendly and despite of being always busy, their service and attention is superb. Thank you

Went for second time and yet again we were so excited to enjoy it that I forgot to take photo of it at first. Photo is after I hold everyone from taking the rest :) Fresh, and we love the low...

My FAVOURITE chestnut cake in Vancouver!! I ordered ahead at @michelecakeshop_ ā€˜s official website for a 6inch cake. Everything went smoothly with the online order and pickup process. They will offer u a free message written on a chocolate decoration. The chestnut cake is absolutely better than any other bakery location in Vancouver. If you donā€™t have a big appetite for crazily sweetened dessert, go for it! The cream and chestnut was creamy and smooth. Their cake is not a traditional sponge cake but richer in egg content. Itā€™s also moist and soft, but not spongy and airy. Please try them if you havenā€™t !!! Lovely staffs, lovely service, amazing qualityšŸ˜

after doing all my research on finding a good chestnut cake for my mom's birthday, decided to give this bakery a try. Pre-order a 6" chestnut cake on the phone with a not so care young lady who took the order. First impression wasn't so great already, but still i have a high expectation on this cake as it has a high rate on yelp. Just look at the pictures, they are so skimp on the chestnut filling, ration of the cake and filling is totally off, it's like i am paying $30 for a sponge cake. The fruit on top for garnish wasn't fresh either. I suspected the cake wasn't made fresh to order. Taste was ok, not too sweet, sponge is just ok, Nothing special about this cake. I expect more for the price it costs.
