My friends took me to The Good Sauna at Container Brewing for my birthday and we had a fantastic time! The weather wasn't the best but the propane fire pit and blankets kept us toasty as we took advantage of the three plunge tubs. I loved the one with fresh ice. LOL Charlie was a fabulous host who kept the immaculate wood-fired sauna piping hot and our beers topped up. I would go again in a heartbeat! Thanks The Good Sauna!

A relaxing and rejuvenating time is to be had at The Good Sauna, Vancouver. A wood-burning sauna adds to quality vibe of this place, the cedar aroma mingling with essential oils of choice make for a special experience here. Three cold-plunge baths of varying temperatures, a fire to sit around and herbal tea for the break in between hot-cold cycles. Bring your own towels, robe and outdoor shoes. Good times.

Booked a private session with friends and it was great. Atmosphere was super relaxing and it felt like we were far away from the city. It was raining but we didn’t mind as there are covered areas, plus it added to the coziness and the fireplace kept us warm. Staff were attentive, informative and friendly. It was connected to the brewery and it was nice to enjoy some drinks while we relaxed.

I went to an open session a few friends - my first time there. When we arrived we were told that the session was overbooked so we would have to wait to go in the sauna. Eventually another (larger) group came out of the sauna and we were allowed to go in… but then we were stuck outside later and told to wait again. Meanwhile, folks from this other group entered and left intermittently. Basically, for some reason 12 or more people were booked into our session, which doesn’t make sense because the website indicates group sessions are 10. I think that 10 would have been totally manageable but 12+ was not. Unfortunately we felt like we didn’t get our moneys worth or really full use of the sauna. I wasn’t going to leave a review because it sucks to have to say anything not positive, but was prompted to twice so here it is! Lovely wood heat in the sauna, nice staff, but in my opinion really no reason to overbook and still charge folks full price for a...

I had a fantastic experience at the Whisking Hour session! The vibe of the group was really welcoming—everyone was engaged, and the staff did an amazing job helping us break the ice in a natural and genuine way, which I truly appreciated.

This was their first time hosting the Whisking Hour in a group setting, and it was such a unique and enjoyable experience. Someone managed the temperature for us, ensuring the perfect heat levels, while the herbal leaf whisking created an interesting, immersive sensation.

The owner was present throughout the session—super friendly and attentive, making sure everyone was having a great time. After the cold plunge, we relaxed by the fire pits with a refreshing lemon-infused tea, which was the perfect complement to the experience.

I’ll definitely be back soon! Thanks for...

Overall a pretty good experience. Nice to have a wood-fired sauna, rather than electric. The smell of woodsmoke really adds something, and feels more authentic. Also, unlike other similar saunas in town, since it's at a brewery you can have a beer while you're relaxing around the fire, which is very nice. On the negative side, they do not supply robes or towels, which I was surprised by. I don't mind bringing a towel, but a robe I expected to be provided. I brought one from home, but it wasn't one I really wanted to get wet. Luckily it was warm enough outside that I didn't need to wear it. A minor complaint for me, but this came as a surprise to my friend as well, so it does seem like something they...
