This is a nice little park with a great water spout style playground for children (what's this called?), as well as a traditional playground, benches and picnic tables, swings, and a number of big trees for shade. There is a big open grassy area. I think it is technically called a baseball field. It has a proper diamond with the necessary fencing for a baseball game, although I haven't witnessed any practices or games there myself. It is not an official dog park and signage asks for dogs to be leashed, but I have seen many friendly dogs playing fetch on the outfield when I visited. The other park patrons didn't seem to be bothered by them at all; how very neighbourly! The park has clean public washrooms and a little ivy covered cottage, which is used by local artists according to the sign. That's a cool thing, but if it is open to everyone it would be even more so! Does anyone know if there are public programs offered there? Overall, the one block square park is chock full of the stuff that fun is made of. Tucked into an urban residential area, this humble park has opportunities to be active while remaining clean, friendly and welcoming. Check it out next time you are in the...

Large neighbourhood park with a new looking playground and water park. There is a cool looking water fountain and washrooms. There is also a large field. There is a good cafe and grocery store on the north side of the park. Surrounded by colourful houses and filled with the laughter of kids at the spray park or playground, MacLean reflects the sense of the surrounding community. The sweetgum trees lining the park put on a beautiful display in autumn. This park replaced the original MacLean Park which was located three blocks further west than its present locale at Georgia and Keefer Streets. It was named after the first Mayor of Vancouver, M. A. MacLean and was the first park to have a supervised...

I found this book in a box, left for me by a brown haired girl with an obsession into Irish and Scottish lineage. I met her on my birthday which she knew was not. She realized I had no idea who my father was, and while she's not kind to men, I put up with her son, and saw value in the worst of them, including her, and I admitted tough love is better than none, my mother as good as anyone, my father bad regardless of genetic link (or not) and only when I'd told the biggest baddest deadbeat dad off and robbed him of all his inheritance did I demand my cut. She gave it to me, in a way, not really. Everyone stopped lying and I took what was due. The truth. I didn't keep the book pictuered, I left it on...

One of the highlights of MacLean Park is its inclusive design, with amenities that cater to people of all ages and abilities. The park also boasts clean and accessible restroom facilities, which is a significant convenience for visitors. Benches are strategically placed throughout the park, offering spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the natural surroundings. The park's cleanliness and safety are commendable, thanks to the dedicated maintenance staff
