I booked a spectacular glacier tour and it was an amazing experience. However things can be made more easy if they send an email to customer sharing some basic information about flight checkin. If you are first timer and follow the gps, it will bring you to a golf course club without any visible sign of Harbour Air. ( I found the signage later but it was too small for anyone to notice if they driving.. you can find them only if you are walking around ) Parking lots are supposed to be for golf course club patron so you might have to go thru the confusion if you can park or not. Once you park the car, you will have to ask some one where is the Harbour Air but if they give a map in email, it would be very easy. Once you reach there, you will find a small deck kind of area which does not have any restroom .. you will have to come back to golf club if you want to use bathroom before the flight. The restroom facility in the golf club was nice and probably open to customers of Whistler Air too so its good idea to visit that before going for checkin. Though they do not have any vending machine if you need drinks. but they have drinking water cooler. As we were pressed against time, wish we had these small information in the booking email.. but other than that it was a life time experience. (Plane were looking very old and I was kind of scared a bit but pilot did amazing job . ) We missed the tour which we booked due to longer than expected drive from Vancouver to Whistler but the front desk staff was kind to accommodate us in other tour . It was a great gesture which we will never forget....
Read moreUpon visiting Whistler recently, we decided to try the Harbour Air Seaplane from Green Lake in Whistler - Spectacular Glacier Tour. We had previously taken a Harbour Air flight over Vancouver so knew we were in good hands.
We were picked up from Whistler Village and taken to the seaport which was picture perfect sitting on a gorgeous green lake and right beside a PGA golf resort. We were promptly checked in and invited to take a seat, but we were no longer than a couple of minutes before boarding the plane.
The plane is comfortable, and every passenger gets a window seat which guarantees you can take in all the views. The pilot expertly took off and proceeded to fly over the stunning mountains, glaciers, and lakes. At every sight, we flew around on both sides to give every passenger the chance to take in the marvels below us and take plenty photographs.
The flight took around forty minutes which passed too quickly but overall, this excursion is great value for money and fully recommended to anyone...
Read moreUnfortunately, I booked this trip through Tripadivsor (Vaitor), but I was disappointed with the lack of parking information provided by the company. Furthermore, my attempts to contact the provider went unanswered, and there was a failure on the part of the Viator agent to share my contact information with the company. Regrettably, they also refused to issue a refund. For future travelers interested in this trip, I strongly recommend ensuring you have a parking spot arranged beforehand. Although there is a parking lot to the right of the roundabout, it is consistently full, so making alternative arrangements is essential. Additionally, to avoid similar communication issues, it is advisable to book directly through the provider to ensure they have your contact information and can get in touch with you in case of any unforeseen...
