As someone who harbors a fear of heights, I was hesitant about trying indoor skydiving at I Fly Toronto. But I am genuinely thrilled to admit that Ben, the instructor, transformed my trepidation into exhilaration with his warmth and skill. From the moment we met, Ben's friendly nature put me instantly at ease. He greeted me with a welcoming smile and took the time to learn my concerns, ensuring a level of comfort I hadn't expected. His jovial demeanor made the daunting experience more approachable and less intimidating, which I found really heartening. During our training session, Ben’s expertise shone through. He patiently explained the mechanics of indoor skydiving and made sure I understood each step before we moved on. The way he articulated complex maneuvers in layman's terms was simply impressive. His hands-on approach and guidance through each stage made the learning curve much more manageable. When it came to the actual flying, Ben was incredibly supportive. His reassuring presence in the wind tunnel, the timely hand signals, and the attentive adjustments he made for my form, everything was spot-on. There were moments when I felt unsure, but a glance towards Ben and his encouraging nod was enough to instill the confidence I needed to carry on. Post-flight, Ben took the time to provide constructive feedback, pointing out areas where I did well and offering suggestions for improvement. It felt like a discussion between friends rather than a critique, making the whole experience enriching. In conclusion, if you're considering trying indoor skydiving at I Fly Toronto, I couldn't recommend Ben enough. His blend of expertise, empathy, and enthusiasm for his craft makes him an excellent instructor. He not only quelled my fears but also sparked a newfound interest in this adrenaline-pumping sport. I left I Fly Toronto feeling accomplished, and I attribute a lot of that to Ben's exceptional guidance.

Update of second visit (Oct 2023): It was very unpleasant to have used a full-faced shield that had the smell of men's cologne or aftershave. Didn't realize it when I put it on at first but then too late once we got in the chamber. When finished, the smell on my hair lingered long after. Really disgusting feeling!! Wish iFly would use a better and effective deodorizer and hopefully a disinfectant also after each use!?!? +++ First experience: Such an amazing experience! From my first phone inquiry during which Tristan offered to make the reservation for me which saved me $5 for online booking fee to accommodating us to an earlier "departure" since we arrived early and the excellent instructor Nick (Nicholas) who was very patient, passionate and professional all along! Kudos to your staff! Soooooo glad to have tried this and will definitely return with friends and family. This first indoor skydiving experience further deepens my interest to try paragliding. Thank you iFly!

It is a great experience for sure, but not worth the amount they charge or time duration they allow individuals to actually experience. To explain this: We group of 10 people went on 26th of Feb 2022, At the beginning of trip they tell you the procedure - pretty neatly , nice explanations there, according to which they take you you in the tunnel 2 times. However, 1. For 1st time in tunnel - Flight time was very short hardly between 1 to 2 mins , this isnt mentioned on there website. 2. For second time in tunnel - again very short period between 1 to 2 mins. Our response : For 1st time it makes sense as we were learning , to just spend less time. however for 2nd time we all hoped for at least 5 mins to enjoy the experience. 3. what about recording experience , they had video camera not working , which we have been told prior to that. Our issue is: they couldn't produce good pictures as well. Hardly took 2-4 pictures from which we needed to select for ourselves.

Experienced a complete lack of consideration for client service at iFly. I purchased two "Christmas Special" gift vouchers for my family. We discovered shortly after that iFly was simultaneously offering an all-inclusive "Ultimate Deluxe Christmas Special" package at nearly the same price, featuring extra flights, VR experiences, gear, and photos, etc.

Thinking it was a simple oversight, I decided to call iFly to inquire about upgrading our vouchers to the superior package. The representative I spoke with was probably new and didn't know much. Despite agreeing with me that it should be an option, he had to check with the manager. After a brief absence, he returned with a disappointing "Unfortunately, we can't."

What baffled me even more was the lack of explanation for why the upgrade wasn't possible. The manager didn't bother speaking to me directly to provide clarification. It seemed like a straightforward request – upgrading to a better package and willing to pay the fair price. However, there was zero interest in considering my request. It felt like they were indifferent to the fact that a significantly better package was available for almost the same price among the nauseating number of options they had on offer.

This kind of inconsiderate business practice was unexpected and disappointing. I had hoped for a more customer-focused approach from iFly since I was personally treated very well at their...

Very disappointing

⭐ 1/5

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the iFly Woodbine location today. I booked and paid for an experience as a special gift for my two kids, scheduled for 11 AM today. We received the tickets and were advised to arrive 45 minutes early, so we made the 1.5-hour drive to the location. Upon arrival, we found the facility closed for maintenance, with nothing but a note on the door.

The website still showed that they were open, and bookings could still be made. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I was finally told the location indeed was closed for maintenance. There was no prior email or any onsite staff to update us. To make matters worse, after speaking with them, they sent an email to reschedule our experience to a different day, without consulting us on whether that day worked for our schedule, despite me telling them I had no interest in returning.

This lack of communication and consideration is unacceptable, and I would not recommend booking here. It’s a frustrating and disappointing way to spend your day, especially with excited...
