Visited Sushi Sakura a few times over the course of a few weeks. Their customer service went downhill from then. The first visit was awesome. Everything was prepared in a timely manner. All the servers were very nice and accommodating. However, the second visit was took a turn for the worse. We went in to ask if they have all you can eat and was told that IT WAS ONLY AVAILABLE AFTER 5PM. I guess we just went a little to early, that's alright. So we sat down and ordered. The older server gave us the wrong order but my friend started eating it without confirming it was actually ours. The lady came 5 mins later and told us that she gave us 2 wrong order. We told we were sorry but she gave us a stink eye and left. When we were almost done she came and told us that she would only charge 1 order. That was shocking. She was the one who gave us the wrong order and it should have been on the house. But we paid it. Lastly, we went back to the restaurant for the third time for see if they would treat us any better. But we were greeted with "WE DO NOT OFFER ANY ALL YOU CAN EAT MENU".

I do hope that the restaurant and the servers treat their customers the same. And I do hope them more success. Maybe they didn't like us but as customers I think we deserve a little better because we are there to eat in...

First time in Williams Lake and honestly just kind of stumbled in here hungry for lunch while doing some work. I didn't go in with any expectations but, man, I was so impressed. I've got a pretty high bar for good sushi even though I'll manage through a wide spectrum of quality. This is up there with the best I've had for sure, though to be fair I can only speak to the one meal I had which was the chicken teriyaki lunch bento.

The miso was excellent, the bento box was clean and really well presented. I was impressed that even though the portion of rice is smaller than usual, it's because you get a bigger portion of veg and noodles under the chicken. The green tea was the perfect temp and flavour, the hot items were fresh and delicious, the Cali rolls with the sesame seed sprinkle were soft and flavourful.

Service came exactly when I needed them, not more or less, and even though I was there just before they closed for lunch service there was no pressure to hurry out.

Really stoked on this place, next time I'm in Williams Lake for work it'll be my first stop. Five stars across the...

My experience here was definitely good. The service was frequent, although the server's English was not great. Take your time to do your order to ensure accuracy and it will be fine. The sashimi was quite fresh and the cuts were done well with normal portion size. Also there was a good variety of available sashimi. I am not 100% sure of all the selections available but noticed Saba (mackerel), Katsuo (bonita tuna) and Maguro (bluefin tuna) were not on the menu. Hamachi(yellowfin tuna) was cut well. Honestly only a couple things would have made this even better. Firstly having some traditional Korean dishes would have been like icing on the cake. Secondly, a larger tea pot would have been more convenient. Super satisfied overall and will definitely recommend going here to anyone, keeping in mind those few things mentioned above to make your experience...

Spent a night in Williams lake, wanted to try another sushi restaurant in town, but it was not open for dine-in, so I went to another sushi restaurant, Sushi Sakura instead. I didn’t have high expectations having sushi in Williams lake, but the overall experience was good. They didn’t blew me away, but I was happy with what I had. Prawn tempura was a little heavy on the batter, and maybe a little bit overcooked, but I still like it. Sakura roll is the one I like the least, I think it’s too crunchy, maybe others like it, but not for me. Ocean dream roll, and red dragon roll both taste good, I like them. I still want to try the other sushi restaurant in Williams Lake, hopefully they open next time, so I’ll know who has the best sushi in Williams lake

I have dined in and ordered out here many times. The dine in has always been great over the years. Table’s, area, & bathrooms are always clean. The service is always fast and great! I brought my baby here and they were very helpful and baby/child friendly. The food is great when you dine in! Only down side is the quality of food definitely reduces when you order out which is unfortunate. I’ve had some sticky tempura in some of my take out and rolls that looked like they were rushed and thrown together. But all together, they have the best agedashi tofu around!!
