Biking along river path is nice, there are 2 down by the river. There was a guy playing his harmonica. Wish I brought some fishing gear! The park picnic bench is gone...wanted to relax do some beading. A boat dock would be nice for people to come and go being right across from Kildonan Park. A shuttle service across would be fun!! It is nice there are restrooms by playground, good for staying a while longer and enjoying all the big beautiful trees!!

A lovely park. Lots of green space and trees. Play structures for the kids, benches if you want to sit and relax, and a few picnic tables too. I love walking along the trail next to the Red River. Popular with people in the neighbourhood, but there's plenty of space so you can generally find a spot of your own. Lots of parking along the nearby streets, and just a short walk from major bus routes along Henderson Hwy.

Simple park with a field, some trees and a view of the river and partial view of Kildonan Park and rainbow stage across the river. Simple playground at the end of the park. Much of the park is flooded. Some partial hills in the park. The grass is green, can sometimes view ducks and geese there.

Very clean and quiet, even though there were quite a few individuals, couples, and families out walking or cycling.

Almost everyone we saw was very friendly and returned our greetings by saying hello or sharing a smile.

I wasn't sure if there were washroom facilities and didn't find any during our time in the area.

There was a definite sewer smell noticeable near the northeast entrance, off Fraser's Grove. It was nasty, but subsided quickly as we passed what looked like a modern service building in that corner.

Lots of beautifully kept homes and yards in the quiet area.

It has been a long time since I was last in the area, but it won't be as long...

Was a "hidden gem" to me growing up. Not much has changed, other than the playground is a little less "dangerous" haha.

I've noticed it has become quite popular recently, it doesn't have any sports areas/fields, so it is a nice place to bring the family for a picnic, or just to sit and read in peace. Some fishing can be attempted along the banks of the Red River.

I've come back to this park for over 30 years, and the fact that little changes is what keeps me...
