Very clean and quiet, even though there were quite a few individuals, couples, and families out walking or cycling.
Almost everyone we saw was very friendly and returned our greetings by saying hello or sharing a smile.
I wasn't sure if there were washroom facilities and didn't find any during our time in the area.
There was a definite sewer smell noticeable near the northeast entrance, off Fraser's Grove. It was nasty, but subsided quickly as we passed what looked like a modern service building in that corner.
Lots of beautifully kept homes and yards in the quiet area.

Read moreWas a "hidden gem" to me growing up. Not much has changed, other than the playground is a little less "dangerous" haha.
I've noticed it has become quite popular recently, it doesn't have any sports areas/fields, so it is a nice place to bring the family for a picnic, or just to sit and read in peace. Some fishing can be attempted along the banks of the Red River.

The park picnic bench is gone...wanted to relax do some beading. A boat dock would be nice for people to come and go being right across from Kildonan Park. A shuttle service across would be fun!!
