Valparaíso City was disappointing during my visit. The streets felt unsafe, especially at night, with little police presence. Cleanliness is a major issue—there's trash in many areas, and some parts smell bad. The city’s infrastructure looks run-down with poor sidewalks and broken roads, making it hard to walk around comfortably. While the colorful buildings and murals are beautiful, they’re overshadowed by the city’s neglect. It has potential, but it needs a lot of improvement to feel welcoming.

Nous avons été visiter ce quartier mais, comme précisé dans d'autres commentaires, celui ci est très salé. De plus, il n'y avait personne dans les rues et nous avons eu très peur de faire des mauvaises rencontres. Je vous recommande plutôt Cerro Concepcion et Alegre qui sont très chaleureux !

El Cerro Bellavista ubicado en el centro de los cerros porteños, debe su nombre a la bella vista que tiene de Valparaíso. Está ubicado entre la quebrada del Circo, actualmente calle Ricardo Ferrari y la quebrada de Yerbas Buenas actualmente la calle Yerbas Buenas. Se puede subir caminando por las escaleras Santa Margarita y Pasteur (212 peldaños) o utilizando un ascensor. En este cerro se destacan: El Museo a Cielo Abierto. El Ascensor Espíritu Santo. Iglesia de Los Carmelitos. Teatro Mauri. Museo Organológico. Escultura Cristo Redentor. Casa Museo La Sebastiana...

Alt though the street art was pretty, the area was very dodgy. Not a lot of people an no police or security…We got robbed and threatened...
