Emperors Temple of Past Dynasties — Attraction in Beijing

It's a 600 m walk (10 min) from exit A of the Xisi metro station on line 4. This temple highlights the profiles of ancient emperors in China's history. As noted on the info board, "by the end of Qianlong period of the Qing dynasty, there had been 188 emperors". It's a bit tiresome to read each profile. A nicely and beautiful restored temple complex. Worth the visit if you're nearby especially if you are more familiar with all the dynasties and emperors China has had. There is an exhibition on the genealogy of Chinese names. Some of the ceilings indoors are very beautiful and easily missed, so don't forget to look up =).
