Found this based on family recommendations since they live in HK. I travel with 5 year old and a 7 year old at this current reviews and both really enjoyed themselves.
This is a great place to be in if the weather is too hot outside or too wet and you want to entertain your kids with indoor activities.
I am sure the layout makes sense but the way I found it is that the G floor is where all the kids activities were and nice and easy to find things for them to do and the activities are time based. It ranges from $100 -200 for 15 - 30 mins depending on activities. There is also an outdoor playground as shown by other reviews, and this is a rare gem since it's under a plaza and gives plenty of protection from the sun for your children and yourself.
As well as this place is mainly for children entertainment it also where you could purchase kids clothing and prices here are $100+ per item as these clothing lines are branded and they have UV protection clothing lines which is great.
Like most plaza its a mix of restaurants and supermarket stores, but it is vainly targeting kids.
I stayed at Nina Hotel tsuen west and its approximately 10 - 15 walks depending on your walking speed and its a mix of bridge walkways and street walking so for that brief few minutes you either be hot or wet. This can be easily a full day out or half a day out depending on your activities and bare in mind like most plaza business opening times is anywhere between...
Read moreDiscovery Park Mall was close to where we were staying, within 15 minute walking distance. It’s a modern shopping centre with a bit of everything, at local prices. It’s not high end shopping, but more everyday shopping. The great thing about Discovery Park Mall is that it is connected by a sky bridge to Tsuen Wan, meaning it’s easily accessible by foot. They have nice quirky shops, and a bit of everything including clothing, hardware, electrical, grocery and fast food outlets. One of our favourite places to eat was Super Super which is a sit in restaurant, you simply order at the counter and get given receipts with order numbers, they call the number when the food is ready. Prices were really reasonable, with a good selection of options so we tried something new every time. We could go back there again, and would recommend. Service was really quick too, but it might have been because we went...
Read moreAfter renovation, this shopping mall has transformed in a more upscale local shopping mall for daily necessities for people living nearby. But it still doesn’t attract many people due to the more remote location in Tsuen Wan.
In the past, this mall was a hotspot for the local TV station TVB to host events but unfortunately not anymore.
But this mall is still a visit worthy since it’s connected via air conditioned bridge ways from Tsuen Wan MTR station to the entrance of the mall, although abit far 15 to 20...
