The Sloth — Restaurant in Hong Kong

Service was quite poor, there was long wait between each dish. Some of us had even finished their meal, yet other order remained outstanding. Most annoying was we had to wait almost an hour for some dish, and when we enquired how much longer it would take, they informed us that the dish would take around 40min. and that it would be ready soon. So we waited another 15 min. then another server came upto us and said that we made a late addition to our order, which, was the first dish that was ordered, when we corrected her, she then said that such dish was only available in the evening. Why then did the server not inform us, and why was it not printed in their menu, and despite their manager coming to us to confirm our order. We had a wonderful experience at The Sloth thanks to our greeter/host Jason, who was incredibly proactive and attentive. He took the time to explain the menu in detail and made helpful drink substitutions, which made our dining experience even better. His speed and efficiency was impressive! Comfortable seating, foods were served quite fast for us. Felt like the dish was a bit oily and could have done with a bit more vegetables. It is more fusion than authentic style. The lunch deal is around 70-80 hkd with a drink and I think the portion is decent. It came with a small dish of potato salad too.
