Terrible experience overall. Though the hotel is conveniently located next to the park, there was a part of the path to the hotel from the carpark that was uncovered which means you would get drenched if it was raining. The staff was impolite, not welcoming and generally seemed like you were the nuisance. The trainee at the front desk rudely told us that under no circumstances could an extra desk be opened as they did not have enough staff and everyone had to wait, and only Marriott gold members were priority even though we were traveling with a baby and asked if we could skip the line. Apparently it's our fault that we brought our baby? (So much for a child friendly hotel) We were told breakfast would be at 3 different locations and 3 different times and we needed to get a ticket to do so. We had no idea where the ticket counter was as the lady at the counter was sitting back in her chair with her arms across her body and she had made no indication that we were to retrieve a ticket from her. We requested baby amenities 3 times before it was delivered and even then the housekeeping runner told us that she was SO busy. We requested for more water and aforementioned runner knocked hurriedly and almost burst into the room at around 8 or 9ish and expressed surprise when we opened the door: "I didn't know you were in the room!" The baby tub had a strand of hair in it, the bottle sterilizer had leftover water inside it and the pack n play looked like it had been assembled hurriedly. The toilet seat in the room was sticky and the bedding had hair in it. Food at the buffet was hard, cold (ie the bacon and hash browns) and some items were left uncovered with the aircon directly blowing onto it. The male toilet in the lobby was a sight for sore eyes as the floor was covered in puddles of water and the mirrors were completely covered in water droplets. The concierge desk across from the front desk was unmanned 99% of the times, and would it hurt for front of house staff to smile a little?! Maintenance was not great, watermarks were evident on the ceilings in public areas, the doors close to the prohibition bar were leaking-hence sandbags and a bunch of towels were placed in a row on the floor, but there was no hazard sign or any kind of warning/signage. The chairs at the check in lobby were also very worn. Overall design of the hotel was very nice, however we did not have an enjoyable stay at all.
