Jardín Plaza Shopping Mall — Attraction in Cali

Love this place once inside. The ppl watching is supreme; the best of Colombia. The crowds are amazing and huge. The entire cross section of Colombia. Beautiful people with so much character, peaceful, civilized. The shopping here is next to none. All the best shops; barber shops, several play areas for children with rides and amusement park style atmosphere, a great supermarket the equivalent of any super Walmart; a complete fully decked, huge, Home Depot style full service home goods, hardware, auto, superstore, several food areas with every imaginable type of food; just not anything really good in terms of taste. It’s all ok, acceptable for the price. The movie theater here is good, clean, shows good movies although the variety needs an upgrade, but the great movie houses with truly great sushi, pizza, and movie fare are at Unicentro, just 10 minutes away, and best at chipichape, about 20-25 minutes away. But anything and everything you want can be found here. The only problem is parking. There are huge parking lots, outdoors, indoors, on many levels. But to get in and out is an absolute nightmare- it is the worst I have ever seen anywhere in the world. The traffic on and around this place is simply insurmountable. And, the problem is the terrible, or lack thereof, urban planning that went into the design - wait, there is no design, no one with the intelligence of a bullfrog could have planned so horribly. Once you are there you will spend an average of 20-30!minutes getting into the parking lots and at least 15-30 minutes finding a space - the majority of which can barely fit a baby carriage let alone an automobile! And they just opened a new 5 story parking garage that is so poorly designed that its only reasonable fate is a wrecking ball and a fresh start. And traffic management and direction is totally non-existent - yet there are traffic officers everywhere, all the time! But they are fully engaged meeting up in groups to discuss significant issues like last week’s office bar-b-q! If you can get in, you will have a great experience! There are 2 Starbucks; modern, beautiful places to sit & enjoy your favorite drinks, pastries and light meals, and a great, attentive staff at both locations. This is a must visit on your trip to Colombia! I recommend u come early, like b4 9 am, and plan to stay the day. One thing, a visit to any of these super malls, and there are at least a dozen just in Cali, should leave you convinced that Colombia is a modern, 21st century country with all the bells & whistles, solid reliable internet access, and great, decent,...

Recently visited the mall, and it was a fantastic experience! The mall offers a wide variety of stores, from high-end fashion brands to local boutiques, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. The food court is impressive, with a diverse selection of restaurants and cafes serving delicious meals and snacks.

The ambiance of the mall is modern and inviting, with well-maintained facilities and plenty of seating areas to relax. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness and the friendly staff who were always ready to assist with any inquiries.

One of the highlights is the playground for kids, which provides a safe and fun environment for children to enjoy while parents shop. Additionally, there are various entertainment options, including arcade, making it a great destination for families.

Parking was convenient, with ample spaces and clear signage. The mall also hosts regular events and activities, making it a lively place to visit.
