Hilton Garden Inn Cali Ciudad Jardin — Hotel in Cali

The most horrible experience ever. The staff is not friendly at all. No one smiled once. The security guard during the day is the only nice one. The young girl who works downstairs at Filomena accused me my friend of walking out on a lemon drop after I showed her the 2 people I was with she said oh not them. So at this point I’m like I really was just accused of stealing. The first day I experienced her I order a smoothie after 20 minutes of waiting she comes back and said no ice to make it. They had an event april 18 2024, where the soccer players was their. After waiting for 20 minutes with no service, they told us the space was reserved and we had to go outside right now. Which was no problem,y husband went to the package store because staff didn’t service us at all. My husband got back with your liquor the manager have the young girl come say we have to charge y’all a cork fee to drink your alcohol here after we couldn’t even get serviced. We asked to see this policy in writing because I never heard of this before. So after refusing to pay the cork we canceled our food we ordered from their restaurant because we didn’t want to eat outside. After going outside to wait on our food and her to finally make my smoothie she comes outside to tell us again we can’t consume alcohol in the rudest way we haven’t even touched it yet. The manager told us to go to our room and drink the alcohol which I thought was absurd the way she was treating us. After my smoothie finally was brought over after 25 minutes after ordering it. We went to the 6th floor roof top common area to play cards and wait on our food we ordered out before we left out for the night. She followed us upstairs to continue this rude demeanor. I have never been treated so poorly in any hotel in my life. The last time I came to Cali I stayed at NH hotel and it was a great experience. I will never stay here ever again. Gives...

Over all experience was ok. Breakfast was good. make sure to get there early to get the freshest meal. Shout out to Alexa, she was treating us every day with her best care. ||We did stay for a month more or less. no netflix or other steaming services available or smart tvs available at the hotel. Jose from engineering was so kind and tried to do his outmost to assist us in getting a smart tv. However it still didn’t work out. Hotel just needs to update their rooms.|| Reception should definitely refresh their costumer service. Some times when you'd call at reception there would be an attitude in response. Do not depend on reception if they’re calling a taxi. You'll get there late. Preferably use uber. ||Whenever they do events, volume is exaggeratedly high. They'll keep you up till 3 in the morning. So make sure to bring noice canceling headphones. Walls are also to thin, if you have a loud neighbors unfortunately you will hear everything. In our case we had to hear of allot domestic abuses. ||The restaurant Filomena overall good. Service good. Food good as well. Portions were quite too big for my personal taste most of the time i would be full with just appetizers. Overall menu taste ok. ||Allot of times the electricity went out for a reason. ||Spa was ok. Massages are good, however the treatment bed are too small or not the proper massage bed. Hands would fall off all the time unable to relax. If its busy at the pool you will hear everything. I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, last week and the experience was absolutely fantastic! We were able to watch the fútbol match between Colombia VS Argentina and the staff was super accommodating., we were kind of a large group and they put together a long table for us. Because of security reasons, our plans of watching the game at Unicentro or Jardin Plaza, fell through, we ended up watching it at the cafe/ restaurant on the first floor, we ordered food and drinks (the tomato soup and the chicken Cesar salad were superb!) and had an amazing time. Another trip is being planned and for sure we will stay there. The staff were very helpful and kind! Customer service was outstanding, the rooms were clean and nice.
