An amazing experience; the view, the wines, the foods, the service, and the atmosphere. I highly recommend. The service is phenomenal. They really do a great job catering to your dietary needs (they made me a special plate of salad because I cannot eat meat or dairy) and explaining the wines. It feels very welcoming and it's a very friendly, inviting experience. The view is amazing. You sit next to the garden where they grow some of the food you may end up eating. It's on the smaller side but still a great place to spend time with a bigger group or your family. The wines are great and the food is so delicious. I can't explain how tasty the tomatoes, basil and arugala were. If you eat a lot of vegetables you will understand. The olives and olive oil were so delicious. The cheese and anchovies are delicious as well. The bread was delicious with the olive oil and salt (super fino). The prices are very reasonable. I expected to pay more and would definitely pay more for this experience. It's so peaceful here. You really are transported to an entirely different place when you sit and relax and enjoy the experience. The service is very timely. They will check on you as needed (not too much) and if you choose the wine tasting you will get your next glass in a timely manner. They open at 13:00 so if you want to go at opening I suggest arriving by 13:20 because by half past they were full. Around 14:30 tables began to open up and at 15:00 almost all of the first patrons had left. I highly recommend this winery to those who are new to wine tasting and to wine tasting veterans because some of the wine here is made from grapes that only grow on this island. Please note that they only accept payment in cash (euros). The staff are fluent in English so you can feel comfortable as a non-Croatian speaker. You may also see a friendly cat or two wandering about which is standard for the Croatian coast (but they won't bother you). Overall I'm so happy that our local friend recommended this winery and I will be back next time we come to the island. Thank you to the staff for such an...

We paid a visit to Winery Grk in Lumbarda having taken a water taxi from Korcula old town. (12 June 2019) It was recommended by one of the guys at the Café Bar Prvi Zal at the beach (thank you 👍) It is perhaps a 20min walk from the beach, but remember take water with you as it will no doubt be a tad warm ☀️😎 and it's also up hill. The views from the winery really are worth the journey, as is the wine. Our host was a lovely young lady, who is the first lady vintner in this winery since it started over 250 years ago. Not only that, but she knows her stuff. Full of information and always has an answer to your questions. Impressive, she will go far. I will let her tell the stories, so go visit 🍇 For us (my wife and I) the Grk was the best and so refreshing. Brought a couple home with us 😀 Also had the cold meat and cheese platter, nice cheeses too. You get a tasting of the white, rose and the red. Actually, there is a 'menu' of sorts where you can choose exactly what you want to try. You will not be disappointed by your visit. Even non (wine) drinkers have the stunning views to drink in (sorry 😁) So. If you are in/near Korcula Island pay them a visit. When we visited, there were Scottish/us, American, New Zealanders, Germans, French and Canadians. Very multicultural, and all having...

Happy to arrive here and being welcomed by a lovely wine family. Perfect wine tasting of the 3 wines they sell: GRK, rose made from Plavac Mali and the red Plavac Mali itself. Very tasty wines that you can combine with a cheese and ham platter. The staff is super kind and makes you feel 100% comfortable. I heard them switch between multiple languages so in case you want to know more about the wine in your own language I suppose they will be able to answer you fluently! Almost all their wines are sold out due to the good season but I luckily scored two bottles of the Plavac Mali. The rose and the Grk are reserved for the tasting, so you can still try them! The setting of this place is also stunning. I will come back today with my friends and I am sure the experience will be the same as yesterday or even better....

Beautiful winery, the highlight of our stay on Korčula! We had originally planned to do a organised wine tour of the island but ended up doing our own tour when the company failed to pick us up. And we’re so glad it did! We took the boat taxi to Lumbarda and it’s a short walk to the vineyard. There are a few wineries within walking distance of each other which are also worth a visit but this one was our favourite. We did the wine tasting and ordered a meat and cheese platter and everything was delicious. So much so that we bought 3 bottles of wine and 3 jars of fig jam for souvenirs. Well worth a visit to sample local made wine. Great value for money and the staff were lovely too. Note that it’s cash only as with many places on Korčula but there’s ATMs in walking distance if needed.
