It's a nice little shopping mall in Cuba. Lots of stores most are open. I found the cigar store in the mall had more inventory than the flagship store in varadero.
One thing to be away of, the washrooms cost money. There is no set price but make sure you have some pesos on you because giving them a 5 dollar Canadian bill would be drastically overpaying.
My wife did find a very nice dress there as well.

Worse place to make shopping in Varadero. Most of the shops try to charge you more on the till. Always check the price of the products before go to the till. They always try to take some advantages. Also the humor of the sales are terrible. Always very rude and without patient to tell you the prices...

Avoid the supermarket (hicanos) here at all cost, they blatantly are ripping off tourists by adding $5-10 at the cashier. I visited 3x and it happened 3x so ripping off tourists seem to be the standard policy. When confronted they just pretend as if they don’t understand you....
