Today, August 10, 2025, I visited the TTT cafe alone, just to the right, as we see the Tomas Terry Theater in Cienfuegos. As soon as I entered the theater, theater employees urged me to go to the TTT cafe if I wanted to drink something, almost urgently. Since I wanted to drink a coffee and have a bite to eat, I went. I ended up ordering two sandwiches and, since it was very hot, three small cans of local beer. The sandwiches were tiny, with ham and poor quality bread. I ate them anyway, since I was hungry. When I asked for the bill, the cafe manager asked me for 9000 Cuban pesos, an exorbitant amount for what I ordered and received! The previous evening I had dinner at the excellent Bahia restaurant, also in Cienfuegos, and I paid only 4350 Cuban pesos. I complained to the TTT cafe about the unjustifiably high price, emphasizing to the person in charge that I am not an idiot and that I know very well what is happening to me. I have been traveling all over the world for years and have a lot of experience in traveling. I asked him for a discount and finally it came down to 7000 pesos, also a very high price for the cheap things I ordered! I am writing my comment here simply to protect other travelers from a similar fate to mine. Avoid TTT cafe, they are scammers!
