Nice beach, with warm shallow water, public toilets, few bars, and water sports. There is a bus station in the streets that is right next to the stairs that leads to Konnos. There are around 200 steps you need to take to get to this beach, it is a bit hard but nothing special, you can do it. We saw a parking, but not sure how to get to it or how much it costs but you still have to walk a bit even if you come by car. I came to Cyprus twice and we could never find free sunbeds in Konnos, so i think it is a myth, LOL. This year we found out they moved those sunbeds so you cannot place your towel almost anywhere. So it sucks, that is why I don’t like this beach the best. This beach is my 4th best in Cyprus - first Nissi, then Fig Tree than Makronissos and then Konnos. I understand that they want to make money, but come on! Leave some space for people to place their towels! We would pay for sunbeds if there ARE any free @10am, but there aren’t. Still - definitely worth visiting. Before that, go see Sea Caves it is also...
Read moreBeach itself is very nice and very busy, so I wouldn’t recommend for a familys with kids. The people who work there and charge for umbrellas and the guys what stands on the entrance to the beach are very arrogant and not helpful, not interested to watch around as the guards supposed to do. I left my family next to them with our bags, as there was some shadow, and I went to look for any space. when I came back my wife said they were comment on people, using very inappropriate words, one of them was farting loudly, thinking it is nice, and wasn’t even interested when his colleague was telling him my wife is standing just behind him, They weren’t Cyprian’s at least not all off them, as they were communicating with broken English. We didn’t find any space anyway, as I said is very busy. We were in many beaches in Cyprus, every year on our holiday, and we can tell so far usually locals and employees are very friendly and helpful, but this place...
Read moreStunning bay! As you approach the turn off for the bay, you'll see a couple parking lots. First though? How's that possible, we are on top of the cliff! If there's a spot, take it. It's much easier to park there and take the straight path down to the beach than to twist & turn down the mountain to the bay. There are small lots at various levels along the way. Once you park, you're walking along the road to get to the bottom. It only sucks on the way back up if your slippers are still kinda wet!
Chairs/umbrellas to rent, and a shaded beach bar with service when you get hungry or thirsty. They even sell snorkels/masks, floaties, and toys in case you forget yours.
Warm and clear water. Quite a number of people, but at this beach I didn't even mind because it was...
