Hymy Sushi Vallila — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

I had some business in the area on a regular Sunday and visited this place for lunch with a group of four people as it was one of the few that were open at the moment.

The restaurant itself is very small and there was not many seats. At the moment, there was only one family besides us.

The menu has plenty of options, salads, poke bowls, sushi etc. There was a small miso soup from the house as an appetizer but getting the mains took quite a while even there was not many people in the restaurant so I must take off one star of the overall experience. The sushi was really fresh and delicious, must be one of the best in town. Poke bowls my companion had also looked good and had plenty of toppings.

Service was friendly and made us feel welcome.

I would recommend this place for anyone in need of fresh and tasty sushi in case you’re not in a hurry, maybe to take away...

My favourite sushi restaurant in the area. I’ve eaten here over 20 times and always had a good experience. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and especially at lunch the value for money is incredible (11,50€ for the food in the picture). The owners are lovely as well. The service is pretty fast, even if everything is made fresh to order....
