Kotka is known for its beautiful parks, and Sapokka water garden is truly the peak of its magnificence.
A large park laying next to the small harbor, it harbors the greatest collection of flowers of all the parks and has a gorgeous waterfall that is at the center of it all. You can spot fish in the pond, look out over kotka from the top of the waterfall or just take a relaxing stroll past the shore in a nice forested area. Besides that it also houses some statues for the kotka sculpture route.
I recommend visiting in summer to get the most out of it as in winter the waterfall is disabled, though it has its own beauty to it.
