Vausti — Restaurant in Kotka-Hamina sub-region

It was a very pleasant surprise to find this place in Kotka. You would not have expected to find a true gourmet expiriance there, but Vausti had proven me wrong. Great meals served on the size you want-as a starter or as a main, which allowed me to have three course meal without feeling stuffed.

Unexpectedly excellent place with high gastronomic standards and famous Nordic creativity. Most meals are known recepies with a great deal of the chef's adjustments that may only be commended. Average starter is Eur 9-10, avg entree Eur 25-30. Despite being a bit on the high side of the european dinner price line the feeling is that it is worth it.

I went here with my coworkers, and although the service was a bit slower than we're used to, the food was amazing.
