Excellent afternoon for a rainy day in March. It had been years since we'd been inside the chateau, and they have done just a wonderful job. Great information cards walk you through it, and the movie is well worth watching for the history. Astrid and her fellow worker could not have been nicer - she saved the last black plume pen for my husband so we could buy it after our visit - very kind and beyond considerate. Read moreBeautiful and very well maintained château. There is no guidance, you just receive a flyer at the entrance and well, it’s up to you. There is no really an order to visit, the distribution is a bit disorganized, you don’t where to start. There are lots of well maintained books from hundred years ago, the chambers also. There is a salle in which you can watch the history of the château. There are also many expositions from artists that are based in Aix-en-Provence, supporting local and talented artists is amazing. Read moreThis is such a beautiful and authentic part of the South of France experience, there was a lot of beautiful architecture and landscape in which this made it on of our highlights of the trip, we say. It is a great experience walking around the grounds, olive groves and down through the town because it wasn't too busy when we visited so it was relaxing and the quietest place we visited whilst in the South of France!
