Le Perchoir — Restaurant in Bastia

Restaurant located above the port of Bastia with a truly spectacular view. My girlfriend and I arrived at 10pm, despite the awkward hours we were greeted in a friendly way by the waitresses (English and Italian speaking, which was much appreciated).

The menu is varied and not trivial, excellent sea bream, unfortunately a little less excellent lamb, good meat but the sauce turned out to be too acidic (reason for my 4 stars).

Beyond our personal tastes, I recommend a dinner here, good prices given the location, good service and interesting food...

The service was very bad: the waiters don’t know how to do their job, which is a shame for a restaurant setting such high prices! What is more, those prices are not justified: cocktails, which cost 9/10 euros each, were really bad, the food was nothing special and the portions were truly small. Avoid. Just avoid. The food was a mixture of prison food and high-school canteen. The octopus rice was overcooked, the beef with olives had 3 olives and was thrown on top of pasta as if it were from a ready-made supermarket food and the wine... God, the wine. I've never had a glass wine that bad in my life. I thought the wine turned. It didn't. It was simply that bad... Nice...
