Orange Cathedral — Attraction in Carpentras

As cathedrals go, Orange is not large. In fact I have been in bigger parish churches but what it lacks in size it makes up for with interesting art. The side chapels are very interesting with some excellent paintings and statues. It is easy to miss the cathedral when there is the great attraction of the Roman theatre to see but it is definitely worth the time and effort to visit if you like...

Seemed to be a 'tucked away' Cathedral compared to others I've seen. Walking around the exterior the building took in a couple of Streets and at some points attached to buildings, not a standalone structure. Inside was more interesting and the whole visit done within 30 mins. Worth a visit...
