Interesting cathedral. Beautiful stained glass, amazing colours. Fascinating baptismal font. Quiet and peaceful place of worship. Not sure the front quite fitted in with the rest, but I suppose that's what happens when a building is constructed over such a long period of time.

Bedeutender Kirchenbau der Gotik. Ende 13. Jahrhundert waren das Nordportal und die sieben Joche des Langhauses fertig. Das 14. Jahrhundert schuf die Chorkapellen und eine Fensterrose im nördlichen Querhaus. Das 15. Jahrhundert vollendete das Langhaus. 1520 errichtete Bischof Gilles von Luxemburg die Spitze des Nordturms. Im 17. Jahrhundert fügte man zwei weitere, gotisierende Joche im Westen an und errichtete Seitenkapellen. 1628 bis 1634 entstand die frühklassizistische Westfassade. Das oberste Stockwerk des Südturms wurde 1907 errichtet; seine Fenster sind der Gotik nachempfunden. Die dreischiffige Kathedrale ist 96,4 Meter lang, 28,6 Meter breit und innen 27,08 m hoch.
