Restaurant La Bourse — Restaurant in Châlons-en-Champagne

We have been going to this restaurant for a long time because it was right next to the hotel where we were staying. From the first moment we noticed a big difference in treatment depending on the team of waiters who were serving that night. One of the team was charming but the other was less friendly towards us. On the evening of 27-01-2025 when we entered the restaurant for dinner we were greeted by the less friendly team. We were seated at one of the tables, handed the restaurant menu and after 15 minutes with the menu we still had not even taken note of our drinks. While we were waiting a new group of people entered the restaurant and were seated at a table near us, our surprise came when we noticed that this group had entered the restaurant about 15-20 minutes later than us and were served by the waiters before they had taken our order. We got up asking for explanations and they told us that they had not seen us, we questioned their justification as they had seen us to show us a table and give us the menu... After months of going to this restaurant almost every night, after this incident we have decided to not return to this restaurant, we are sad to come to this decision because the food is quite good and the other team of waiters are quite nice but that does not compensate for the bad manners or customer treatment of that...

I’m normally not the one to write a review that’s not about the food but now I just had to. I went in and asked for a table ( I had no reservation, I know) they told me they where ‘completely full’ no space at all. So I started to walk away. Right behind me there was another couple, they also asked for a table without making a reservation. They got a table… well thank you. ( because I’m not judging the food, nor the interior and ‘vibe’ I’m not giving a one...

Incroyable. Patron menaçant et homophobe.

Alors j'étais avec un ami nous avons commandé pour le dîner une bouteille de Chardonnay Tripoz affichée à la carte sauf qu'on nous a apporté un premier prix de grande surface. Le temps de voir la différence on nous a expliquer que nous avions goûté et surtout que c'était la bouteille à la carte sauf que la comparaison de la carte et de la bouteille montre le contraire. Même son de cloche à la table d'à côté pour la viande. Dans les deux cas se sont les fournisseurs les fautifs.

Donc on goûté à peine nos repas, on ne touche pas le vin et le restaurateur nous explique qu'il s'en moque car il a de la clientèle. Bravo l'amour du métier.

A la sortie ce qui semble être le patron me prend en photo et nous suit dans la rue avec mon amis pendant 5 minutes en nous insultant. Ils nous dde de confirmer d'un ton rieur qu'on a qu'une chambre à l'hôtel, nous suit pour avoir le numéro de notre chambre. Il n'a pas compris que nous sommes des Chalonnais expatriés. Et puis nous explique qu'il s'en moque des clients que seul le fric l'intéresse. Il explique qu il sait que les bouteilles ne correspondent pas a la carte. Encore une fois c'est de la faute des fournisseurs. Il est filmé et s'en moque. La suite demain matin passage au commissariat pour menaces et insultes homophobe, transmission de la photo de la carte à et de la bouteille vendue à la répression...
