We went to the waterpark, driving there wasn't so hard but we did have quite the trouble parking. The park sadly doesn't have a car park so we parked at a parking lot nearby (600m). With Google we tried to find the entrance but we got led to the back of the park at the employees entree and has to ask a nearby person where to go.
Entrance was a bit busy as we didn't buy a ticket ahead of time. The woman spoke quite well in English, luckily. Most staff in the park did. I do think it's a bit high priced.
The park itself looked a bit older but once inside it was very nice. Large swimming area (2 parts) lots of slides for all, dare devils but also people who would rather take a family slide.
Sadly the park does have restrictions in swimwear. Where my little brother was fine not wearing tightly fitted shorts someone with us who had a swim dress was told to tie it to the side or not to swim, which is a bit frustrating but further no issues.
The food was quite decently priced. Especially for what you get. We had 2 burger menus and a loose burger.
I do have to say that this park is not easily accessible if you have a wheelchair or mobility issues. The steps to get in/out the pool are quite deep down, a lot of parts are with bridges (which have anti-slip) but cannot be used for a wheelchair.
Over all I would say it was quite nice and except for the swim clothing issue which I didn't really get, it was a good day and we enjoyed the park. I do have to say parking is quite hard, it could use a little more maintenance here or there, I think ita a bit pricey and in my opinion it's not very fit for people who have a mobility issues, weither that is wheelchair or just other forms of issues with mobility. I dont know if I would return but I did enjoy...
Read moreGreat place for a day. We arrived early, at 10.30 and had fewer queues for all the big rides. We took a picnic as food is expensive. By 12.30 queues were much bigger at each slide but reasonably quick. By 15.00, we couldn't be bothered to queue any more as it was super busy. It's €25 per adult, so it's not cheap for a family. Slides are great fun. Steep ones and gentle ones. Lots of small children stuff that I noticed. We did every side twice, if not more, because we love them.
There are changing rooms and toilets but they are in poor repair and were fithy. Probably the only big let down on the site. Loungers are €5 per lounger for the day. Take a blanket and put it in the shade on the grass. It's busy but saves paying for chairs that we don't really use as we are sliding, eating and sliding again.
Safety can be slightly dubious in the pools so don't jump in and watch for steps in the water that can be seen from above but not whilst in the water. Toe stubbing and pools aren't deep. There are plenty of signs to warn you of the 1m 1.10m and 1.20m water. Pay attention. Life guards are generally on it, if they can be arsed. So, ask if you can go. Check which position ypu should be in so you don't smack your head sitting when you should be lying down! The explainer panels are often covered by people queueing.
There are jump slides. Big steep slides you are launched off and can tumble into a big pool. This is extra €10 an hour or € per jump. Can't remember how much.
All in all a good place to spend a day or 4 hours. Expensive though. Get there early to avoid queues. Take a picnic. Park on a road leading to it, through Le Penin. Free parking- French and spanish are good at this. We've been a few times. Book online and jump the queue at...
Read moreThe park is actually very nice and the price I think is resonable. The pools are fantastic and the slides are great (the ones we could try).
On the negative side, if you need a locker be prepared with two 2 euro coins because there is nowhere to change. They were sending us from one side to another and in the end i had to buy something to get the change.
Second, most of the slides require minimum height, we went with a child 1.10m pay the child entrance and find out there he can only use the pools and one slide. The website offer no such information. The dark master is 1.20m the aqualoop and turbulance also 1.20m also minimum 2 persons. If this information was on the website we wouldn't have gone.
Third, the restaurant is nothing special. The burger had a bit of meat of some sort lost in alot of bread tbe wait for the piza is 20min so you get your burger and 20min later the pizza. But this was not the biggest problem, I've seen the pizza boy sneezes blow his nose and carry on managing food, no goves no washig hands. So if you can bring your own food.
All this been said I think its...
