Don't miss those 2 great restaurants upstairs. Also, convenient restrooms downstairs in the middle. By the stairs up. Have an amazing vacation!

We checked this out as it was a place to see in FDF but honestly we didn’t find much exciting about it. If you love markets then you may like this, but if you’re only considering because you were looking for things to do (like we were) then skip it and head to a beach!

C'était un belle expérience car le marché à été refait à neuf avec ses nouveaux emménagements et les petits restaurants du fond où l'on mange créole. Nous n'avons pas testé mais tout était local! Pour prendre la navette, ça vaut le coup et arriver sur Fort de France en bateau navette, c'est le top! Les étales du marché sont bien achalandés et colorés de produits régionaux et les épices de tout genre vous chatouillent les navires, il fait faire l'expérience soi même pour le croire ! Allez y donc et profitez de la balade dans la ville qui elle, par contre, aurait bien besoin d'un coup de jouvence également. Il ya pourtant de belles maisons typiquement créoles mais certaines totalement laissées à l'abandon, dommage!

It's new rebuilding the market with local restaurant some little shopping t-shirts local brands and some fresh vegetables fruits but I think it's expensive for the local products and you can find some local rum but not all of them friendly sometimes when you ask the price than you not buy it they not...
