So Elsi — Restaurant in Fort-de-France

The BEST restaurant in all of Martinique. I relish my whole food plant-based diet, and this restaurant allowed me to enjoy this way of life while also eating out. Spotlessly clean and cool place, fresh, vibrant decor, a smiling, warm welcome, and an amazing array of choices. I was able to try new veggies I never had before. My bowl was so good it didn't need a drop of sauce or dressing. My food intolerances were taken into account (rare even at vegan places) and I had the most delicious smoked tofu! The desserts are all vegan and wonderful and the wine is even marked vegan. Local beer selection is great. I recommend this place 1000% and it will be a first stop once I'm back in Martinique! A very welcome delight and something a bit different from the surrounding restaurants/eateries.

Firstly, the staff are really friendly and helpful. The guy offered to explain the options and there are a number of tablets dotted around with the menus and selections. Either make your own or choose from some fine looking recommended dishes. I had the ‘Pinky’ and wasn’t disappointed!

The food is all fresh and the mix of infrequent was mouth watering.

The price isn’t too bad, on par with the generally higher prices of the island.
