If you come to Biot you must visit this shop/museum/factory/gallery. Plenty of parking spaces when we went in October. None of the restaurants were open when we went (we were there over lunch time, but maybe they have closed down for the non tourist season?) The glass shop was beautiful and full of kitchenware, vases and other glaassware made on site. I gave glass blowing a go. It was a very cool experience! The lovely staff spoke to me in French but spoke very slowly so I could understand the instruction. They guide you through the whole process and it was very easy yet hands on. You can't take your creation home on the day, you have to return 2 days later. It cost me 68€ for the experience and I get to take home a vase created my me! Toilets located on site. Art gallery on site exhibiting local glass makers. Parking is free if you purchase something from the shop, just ask the lady in the shop to validate your...

It was ok. There was no "guided tour" today. Not that much touring seems possible anyway. But it is really cool to watch the craftspeople work on the pieces they are producing. The signs explaining the process are in French only and not easy to understand (and I speak French, and have been to a glassblowing place before). These really need translating into English. We didn't see a museum, and the shop selling glass items and homeware seems rather expensive. Tbh, I found only one of the pieces of artwork in the gallery, actually beautiful. Finally, it is paid parking! All in all a bit of a tourist trap, but not unentertaining. Park for free outside café La Pause, who do excellent...

Mixed feelings. The glasswork is very heavy, so it'd be too heavy to use a champagne glass once full. It's not delicate. It's also very expensive for what it is, particularly with the poor quality control. The rim for several glasses was defective, even if they were sold as top pieces (not seconds). The glasses weren't all straight either. Overall, their specialty is clear (bubbles in glasses) and some of their artistic pieces are interesting, but the mass production is not very good.

Interesting glass craft workshop and glass showroom. Definitely worth a visit - watch as several glass blowers make various glass items. There’s a small section with historical information about Biot Glass, and a showroom full of beautiful glass items for sale, all in a variety of colours. Make sure you check the opening hours, and be aware that they close for lunch 1.30 - 2.30 everyday.
