The manager came out to our table to tell us we were “lucky he would allow us to eat there”! He said he was doing us a favour to allow us to share. The restaurant was half empty. The food was sub-standard. The greens in the salad were not fresh — actually slimy. If the service had been friendlier we might have ordered dessert, and had another drink. Despite the heat that day, the service was top-notch. They thoughtfully set up a second umbrella to keep us cool and made sure our dog had plenty of water. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of heart.
