St Vincent de Paul Church in Marseille is a true gem in the heart of the city. Built in the mid-19th-century (between 1855 and 1886) in a striking Neo-Gothic style, its twin spires and intricate details make it a remarkable piece of architecture. Inside, there’s a calm and peaceful atmosphere — a refuge from the bustling city — perfect for reflection or simply resting in silence. The soaring arches, beautiful stained glass, and delicate sculptural elements all contribute to its timeless and majestic appeal. Whether you’re a history lover or just looking for a moment of peace, St Vincent de Paul is well...

The Church of Saint-Vincent de Paul is a reformist church built in 1855-1886 in a medieval Gothic style. On this site stood the chapel of the Reformed Augustines of 1611. At the entrance to the church, as in many places in France, there is a monument to Joan of Arc. The national heroine of the country is revered everywhere. On examination, you should pay attention to the window rose, the floor mosaic in front of the entrance and the decorations of...

Now this is a church worth seeing! It stands on a very busy road junction but has monumental presence as you first set eyes upon it. There is some restoration work going on at the back which doesn't spoil any of your photos. However, once inside the altar is not fully open because of this work. It has colossal high pillars and a very special and intricate ceiling design.
