The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Marseille is a true gem for art enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike. Read moreOn saturday our first day in Maseille we discovered this place and wanted to just roam around but the curator for a free music program invited us for the party at night. So afterr taking a couple of hours walk around the city we came back and danced and had fun to the sounds of Rumba De Boda. The next day (today) was the first sunday of the month so we were able to visit both museum of fine arts and natural history for free. I cannot really express how many art pieces sunned there. Inspiring for my own work. Tickets are normally 45 for fine arts museo and 3 for natural story. Today s also the last day of national geography's photo exhibition above the museum of natural history. Outside peripheries Are magnificent and exceptional in many ways. The architecture is not "unique" in the sense that it seems like greek inspired baroque style but the layout is impressive from every side you see it. It is a hub that attracts people of the community from.all age groups. Certainly recommend pending a few hours...
Read moreOne star goes to the two nice French ladies at the front desk. Don’t be fooled by the cover of this museum. Right after I entered a loud yelling went on far behind my back. Literally never heard such loud yelling, like during a street brawl in Africa. When I realized he was yelling at me, to tell me I could enter thru the glass doors (no checking on ticket), I looked at him — a little Arab late midaged in all black, speaks no English, talked while a weird and smoke odor out of his mouth. Who is he? Has a plate as museum staff? I thought this museum could be the last possible place of this city’s trace of civilization but it is NOT. Zero civilization even in the fine arts museum with staff gathering and chatting loud non stop. All thanks go to France’s failed immigration laws and social...
