Beautiful although small museum with a beautiful " collection permanente", they borrow collections with Guimet, the main asian art museum (in Paris) therefore they have normally plenty to show. One hour and 30 mn if you want to explore completely a new exhibition and the surrondings, it's near the airport and by a parc called : Parc Phoenix and the entrance is free. You have all facilities : parking at the entrance, nibbles (food) and beverages inside and a truly beautiful boutique with carefully chosen items and artefacts/ books. There are several interesting artifacts dated to even 1000BC from nations all around Asia. There’s an exhibition about Japanese Tattoo history ongoing. There’s also a collaboration with Season Lao to showcase his works in all rooms from the museum.

Read moreIt is a nice museum. Beautiful exhibits at no entrance fee. But it promises a bit more than it actually has. It is fairly small and there is fairly little background information on any of the exhibits. Also there are no english translations for the french texts. While I'd say this is no requirement, since it's a french museum after all, it would be a nice addition. Even with some level of french, reading descriptions on asian history is a different level than understanding...
