You don’t really expect much when you calculate how small the rooms actually are. But hey, you will never even understand how useful every tiny bit space of the room is. If you are a creative soul, you can bring some spirit to the room and make it seem very sweet. Always have flowers around *that’s my recommendation ;)
You have a small wardrobe with enough space to fold your clothes, hangers, two large drawers under the bed (useful for anything clothes, food, you name it), a large table with a chair where you can make your little office, shelves around the room to put lovely stuff, but also stuff you need for the kitchen, and a small fridge which does not fit a lot that’s why I recommend go shopping every Monday morning so you won’t have a lot of things to put in the fridge.
The kitchen is hard to work with. You have two big tables where you can sit and enjoy your meals and a microwave (very helpful) set aside. You don’t actually have an oven, but you can get creative with food and not really miss it :) I suggest you find a person that you connect really well in the dormitory, someone who you can cook with. Trust me even the food will taste better when accompanied by a loved one.
Yes the room is small, reasonable for it’s price considering it’s in Nice. However, don’t put too much thought into it. You have to spend most of the day outside and enjoy the beauty of Nice. And if you are ever bored in the room, just go for a walk, get a take-away margarita at MomoPizza on the way and enjoy it at Promenade des Anglaise.
Loved every moment spent here!!...
Read moreThe rooms are quite small but clean. They don't offer some basic stuff like a proper pillow or toilet paper. It is located a bit far from the centre of town and from shopping areas(30 mins of walking). It is also far from the University (Faculté de Droit) but super close to the Faculté des Lettres. The biggest disadvantage is that nobody there speaks English, so you have to speak French in order to communicate somehow. They are supposed to speak just the basic English words because not all of the students living there are French or speak French fluently. I also faced a problem with the card they gave me to use for entrance in the residence and in my room. It wasn't working and it took them 3 days to make it work again so I had to stay in my room which is...
