Well sadly I did not meet the lovely elderly couple, I must have met someone else. So unfriendly and unwelcoming it was almost comical, in fact it was kind of hilarious. He must have had some sort of a bad experience with Irish people before and I’d love to know what they did to him because he threw his eyes up to heaven when he heard where we were from and it went from there. We were brought into a tasting room, asked what we wanted to taste and while he poured the first glass he sat at a table and stared at us. We had to serve ourselves for the rest of the time while he just continued to stare. It was fairly uncomfortable. We bought 2 bottles but we would have bought more had the experience been better because , to be fair, the wines are lovely. Nous n’avons pas été reçues par Marcel mais par son fils qui était déjà dans la cave en train de travailler le vin cueilli récemment. Personnalité certainement plus attachante qu’en apparence : un peu sarcastique, mais à pris le temps de nous faire goûter ses vins. Même si nous lui avons laissé pour près de 200 euros il nous a fait comprendre qu’il a des clients bien plus importants.
