The Batumi Argo Cable Car provides an enchanting experience, showcasing breathtaking views as it gracefully traverses above the city. As I stepped into the cable car, I eagerly anticipated the panoramic vistas that awaited me. The initial part of the journey was awe-inspiring, with the cityscape unfolding beneath me like a vibrant tapestry.

Upon reaching the upper station, I was taken aback by the limited space it offered. The compactness of the area surprised me, and it was apparent that careful planning was required to accommodate visitors comfortably. Despite this constraint, I remained determined to make the most of my time there.

I discovered that the upper station housed only two coffee shops. While I had hoped for a wider selection of culinary options, I decided to embrace the situation and indulge in a coffee break. The atmosphere within the coffee shops was tranquil, and I found solace in the simplicity of their offerings. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, complementing the serene ambience.

With my coffee in hand, I ventured to the observation deck to capture the magnificent scenery. The sweeping vistas of Batumi, with its blend of modern architecture and natural beauty, were truly captivating. I snapped numerous photos, each frame attempting to encapsulate the mesmerizing essence of the city from this elevated vantage point.

Having savored the experience and immortalized the captivating views, it was time to descend. As I made my way back on the cable car, I reflected on the unique encounter with Batumi's skyline. Despite the limited space and modest number of coffee shops, the Batumi Argo Cable Car offered a memorable journey that celebrated the city's allure from an elevated...

The Batumi Argo Cable Car offers a unique and breathtaking way to experience the city from above. Located on Gogebashvili Street, this cable car takes passengers on a short but scenic journey to a viewing point over Batumi, providing stunning panoramic views of the Black Sea and the cityscape1.

The ride itself is smooth and lasts about 10 minutes, but the experience is truly unforgettable. Once at the top, visitors can enjoy the observation deck, which offers a perfect spot for capturing photos and making memories2. The digital museum at the summit features immersive 360° visuals from famous artists, adding an artistic touch to the adventure.

For those looking to relax, there's a café-bar and a restaurant with spectacular views, as well as a Joyroom filled with fun activities like mirror mazes and a private jet simulator. The area also includes a wine corner, a souvenir shop, and an outdoor café, making it a comprehensive entertainment complex3.

While the lines can be long, especially during peak hours, the wait is worth it for the incredible views and experiences offered. The cable car operates daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, ensuring plenty of opportunities to enjoy this attraction1.

Overall, the Batumi Argo Cable Car is a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists, providing a unique perspective of the city and a...

The price vs value wasn't there for this cable car compared to others we rode in Georgia, at USD$12.30/pp particularly considering that the view wasn't clear.

If the air is really hazy, the view from the top isn't good. The ride is fast and smooth.

The bottom operator guy would not let us wait for a car to ride alone (and there was nobody else behind us.) It worked out for us in the end as a hat was left behind in the cable car and one of the other passengers gave it to the top operator guy. When the other people saw us they communicated that it was there. And the hat was very much needed that day!

There are clean bathrooms up top, as well as a souvenir shop and a cafe/restaurant and an ice cream stand. We didn't eat up top, so nothing to review on that. The tiny chapel was peaceful, and there was a great breeze just outside the chapel (on the right) by the edge of the trees.

Security scolded and stopped multiple tourists sitting on the edge of the circular fountain that looks like a sailboat.

There is a swing for photos that was tied (to not move much) that had a net to catch anyone who fell off so they didn't fall down the face of the hill.

It was below "ok" in my opinion, and overpriced...

If you've never been on a cable car then it's a must. If you have, then you know what's just as important as the cable car ride is what's on the other end of it. (don't get me wrong, still a very gorgeous ride up that takes about 10 minutes.) This place is succhhhh a disappointment though. Once you get to the top there is absolutely nothing but a cafe. And In someones bright idea when building this cafe is in a way the blocks the entire view of the city and black sea. It was crazy for us to see considering you pay 30gel each person to go up just to have a blocked view if you want to relax at the cafe. THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT RIGHT. Go at 8pm or a littler after, when the sun is lower. Bring a blanket and some food, drinks, music and good company. And hang out downstairs from the cafe in the lawn (which doesn't have an blocked view) and have your own picnic and watch the sun set. This place closes at 11pm so you'll have a lot of time.
