Took a ridiculously long time for food to come. Almost missed my train waiting. 2+ hours for salad and some kebabs. The seafood salad was horrendous and tasted like it came from a can. Do not recommend. Really that salad was 24lari and I was so nauseated by it I only took 1 bite. Thankfully my partner has a steel stomach and he ate it instead.
The staff was trying to help, our server checked often on the kebabs (ordered to go because we were running out of time) but the kitchen just wouldn't put them out. There were only about 4 people dining in the restaurant so I honestly don't know what could have taken so long. Our train was leaving in 15min and even though we already paid I was just about to walk out when they finally handed them to is.
Ate the kebabs on the train. They were fine. Average and generally tasty just for the life of me I cant understand what took almost an hour...
Read moreI came here during off season, between lunch and dinner rush, with a large party of 27, and the restaurant was empty. A third of our dishes had not yet arrived 2 hours later. We found out that the kitchen was missing ingredients, not consolidating orders and was making each dish one by one, and generally being inefficient. The two waiters had to go out to buy ingredients for our meal. Two hours after we ordered, the 3 chefs started kneading the dough for our khinkalis. In addition, the servers got several orders wrong and we just ended up eating what came out of the kitchen because we were so hungry.
While the food was not bad, the service was appalling. Perhaps this was because many of the staff only work in the tourist season, but whatever the reasons, this restaurant isn't ready to serve more than 10 people within a reasonable...
