Before you read this review, please have a look at my previous reviews and confirm that i am a positive person, and i usually write positive feedback about the places i visit. However, this restaurant is a rubbish restaurant when it comes to service. I have encountered one of the worst hosting scenarios when it comes to guests welcoming.
Initially, I came inside the restaurant standing up for 2 complete minutes and was saying hello to all the waiters just to get their attention to ask for a table, and nobody even bothered to say hello back or asked me to sit somewhere.meanwhile, I went over it quickly like it didn't happen and i found my way around and sat on a table. Upon that, I was calling again loudly "excuse me" and trying to bring the attention of different waiters just to give me the menu, and nobody responded to me until i screamed.
After that, the guy who gave me the menu bar code asked me if i want to order now, and i told him you just gave me the menu, please give me 2 minutes and come back !
Finally, i was ready to order for almost like 15-20 minutes and trying to ask every waiter to take my order but nobody was even caring to service me and finally someone showed up and was continously giving me signals that he will come in a seconds. Considering that, he was taking orders from other tables that called him after me and even placing more orders for them !!
At the end, i yelled at them really loud and was asking for the manager, and when he showed up again (doesn't even seems to be the manager becuase he was the same rubbish waiter), he said i am busy, i told him if you can't take an order from your customers for 20 minutes, then keep being busy and i left the awaful restaurant and won't come again here ever.
It was one of the worst hosting experiences i...
Read moreFirst of all, the manager Mr. Harun is a very respectful and friendly person. We really enjoyed our conversation with him. However, I want to share some points that might help others who plan to visit: -We didn’t try the Turkish coffee, but both the coffee at Liman Restaurant and Liman Coffee House was disappointing. Their espresso setup is not done properly, and none of the espresso-based drinks are enjoyable. I didn’t like the coffee at all — definitely not worth the price. -Service was very poor. While this is quite common in Georgia in general, here it was particularly bad. The waitstaff were very young and inexperienced. There was no one who spoke proper English , or who had any clue about professional service. We were not satisfied with the service. -The breakfast ingredients were not high quality. The only thing I enjoyed was the “kuymak” (a traditional Turkish dish). Although we asked for tomatoes and cucumbers to go with the breakfast platter, they never came. The portion was small and both the quality and presentation were disappointing. -The color of the fried items was too dark, including the fries — not sure if the oil hadn’t been changed or if they were just overcooked. -Finally, despite all these negatives, when we went to pay, we were charged around 210 GEL for a spread breakfast for two with only two small extras. That was truly shocking. Given the low quality of everything, it was extremely frustrating to pay almost double what you’d expect at a regular place.
I’m always happy to pay for quality, but paying twice the normal price for a subpar breakfast left a bad taste. I hope management sees this review and takes the necessary steps. Otherwise, I would not recommend coming here...
Read moreCheating place at the front of a nice city. I wanted to have one beer. They give me menu, where it says beer is 5 lary (1.5 euro). I went to wc to get ready for beer and wash my hands. The first thing that disturbed me is that the tap near the toilet had no handle. I was very happy to find that there were two more sinks in next hall. Of course one sink was not working, but the other one was working a bit. When going back to my sitting place, i asked waiter how much is my beer. He says it’s 7 lary (2.1 euro). I ask why, he says things have changed. I went back to my table feeling slightly upset. The beer was ok, and it was the only thing that was right… When i sat down for my golden beer, reconstruction of this place has started. Not nice, but bearable. And then surprise surprise, there is no price. When we get a bill, a beer is 8 lary (2.5 euro), plus service fee of 10%, which results in a price of 9 lary (2.8 euro) for one beer. And around 200-300m you can get craft beer for 2 lary( 0.65euro). And yes, they don’t have a sea view. So what you choose, beer or...
